This property is located on the island of Giudecca, just off the mainland of the city of Venice. This makes it slightly more difficult to get to/leave, but the hotel offers a complimentary water bus between San Marcos square, one other stop on the island, and the hotel. In peak season I believe it arrives about every 20 minutes or so. Non-peak is about every 30-40 minutes. If you are taking a cruise out of the port of Venice this hotel is 1 stop on the alilaguna (water bus) away from the port. Super easy to get to the terminal from this hotel, but plan ahead for the water bus.

The rooms were small, but not too small. Plenty of room for a large suitcase, multiple carryons, and still enough room to walk around. Cleaning staff was also very nice. We typically put up the DnD sign during our stay (we like to throw our stuff everywhere and really relax), but we bumped into one of the staff on the way to breakfast and she insisted (politely of course) that she wanted to clean our room anyway, even though we tried to refuse.

Breakfast was awesome each morning. There was a buffet that had sliced meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, American favorites (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes), and an Asian food bar. The wait staff would also bring you custom eggs or coffees as requested.

Executive lounge features snacks, waters, and juices all day. From about 5-7pm they offer a happy hour with house wine and hot snacks.

Staff speaks wonderful English (if that's a concern for you). No problem understanding or communicating any needs with them!

Fantastic Hilton property located in a quiet setting on Isola Guidecca.

We were warmly greeted after arriving from our water taxi from the airport and the check in staff was very accommodating in getting our rooms ready even though we were several hours early.

We relaxed a bit in the Executive Lounge before heading up to the pool for a swim and a drink. The view from the roof is amazing as the old mill in which the hotel us located is one of the tallest structures in Venice.

We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a king suite with separate sitting area and huge bathroom and bedroom. The view of the back of the island was tranquil.

The concierge was great and helped us with reservations, tours and recommendations, all of which were winners.

The breakfast buffet was huge and had plenty of international options to choose from.

Staff were all friendly and helpful, all around a wonderful property to stay at and we would revisit next time in Venice.

Overall, a pleasant stay in Venice. The staff was friendly, the amenities were decent.

It is located on a separate island, across the shore from the main city.  The island itself is a bit quieter, with fewer dining options.  Hilton has a shuttle running to San Marco every 30-40 minutes, with a fee of 9 euros per person per stay.  Alternative option would be the public shuttles around.

Our room was decently clean, with an old historical feel.  However, nothing amazing.  I was a bit surprised by the lack of certain amenities, that I assumed would come with a hotel such as Hilton.  For example, they did not have robes, slippers, and nightly turn down service that a typical 5 star hotel would have.  Additionally, they were a bit stingy with their towels-- only one towel per guest.

Other notable amenities: the rooftop pool is definitely worth a visit, as it has a gorgeous panoramic view of Venice city from across the island.  The gym is also pretty nice, with a variety of cardio and weight equipment.

On our last night, we also dined at the hotel restaurant for dinner, due to terrible weather.  The food was decent, however nothing mind blowing.  I ordered the caesar salad with grilled calamari. The calamari tasted a bit rubbery and overly chewy.  The Hubby got steak- which was decently made.  However, as expected, all of the food came at an extravant price as compared with the local restaurants less than a block away.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay, but would probably choose an alternative should we visit again.

This was our first visit to Venice, and we chose to stay with a reputable name like perfect tourists. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and it being her birthday on the second night, I decided to use the concierge's help for organizing a little birthday surprise for her. The hotel is not very conveniently located, and the directions from the Tronchetto parking (where we parked our rental car) wasn't very accurate either (they told us to take a water taxi and get off at the Palanca station, while later on we realized that Sacca Fisola was closer). The room that we were 'upgraded' to at check-in was a King executive room, but the room was pretty small for the grand title, and I decided that we needed to switch to a larger one for the second night. For a fee, we were upgraded to an executive suite with a view, and that is when our experience was enhanced by a lot. The room was exquisite, the executive lounge perks were awesome, and the view was majestic. The facilities inside the room were great as well, and a true representation of the Hilton brand name. My wife's birthday surprise was perfectly timed as well. The only other thing we could've had better was the transport from the hotel to spots other than the city center (i.e. St. Mark's square). Dragging luggage around to one of the public transport stations is a hassle to say the least, and for the amount that Hilton charges for the stay, they could at least include some transport to the guest parking. Anyway, we enjoyed the stay. :-)

This is a very nice hotel just two water bus stops away from the main island.  Historic factory building nicely transformed into s quality hotel across the canal from the main island.  Great views if you luck into the right room.
In a nice neighborhood for walking with several small shops and restaurants.  The hotel itself contains two excellent but slightly expensive restaurants.
Strolling the neighborhood proves an opportunity to estimate what life is for the bulk of Venetians. And what s life it is.
The front desk staff at this hotel are superb.
